The 10th OA'2007 International Conference on Office Informatization has been scheduled on Oct. 25~27, 2007 in Beijing, China. The Conference are hosted jointly by the State Information Center, Office of CAS, Mobile Government Laboratory China, Beijing Municipal Information Office and Ministries, Commissions, Bureaus concerned as well as Societies, Associations close to 50 departments.
From the starting point of innovation, the Conference will popularize mainly for the application, summarize and probe into the present situation of OA in China, the existing problems in development and the current topic of general interest, exchange the advanced technologies at home and abroad, promote OA in networked times, speed up the building of EG and EB.
The Conference invites the relevant experts and manufacturers at home and abroad to attend this Conference, and provides an excellent exchanging place and the golden business opportunities for various parties.

Contents of the Conference

Next Generation Internet, Networked Office, Mobile Office & Home Office (MOHO), Mobile Government, Mobile Business, Collaboration Office, Office Records Management, Information Security, Logistics and Emergency as well as Storage, Computer soft&hardwares etc. to promote the OA of New Generation.

The Points for Conference Concerned

1) Registration Fee of Delegates: U$: 200 p.p. (Preferential for the members of delegation Group);
2) Accommodations: The Conference will arrange your accommodations responsibly, but the delegates should pay for their own board and lodging.

Calling papers for conference
The scope of papers will be as the same as the abovementioned contents of Conference, and the total script should be limited within 6,000 words or not more than
5 A4 pages, keywords should be limited within 6 expressions, the abstract should be limited within 300 words; The article is demanded a clear point of view, reliable basis of argument and concise & smooth sentences. The deadline for submitting is July 15, 2007.
Series Arrangement for the Conference Papers: Subject, authors' name, and organization, postcode (or Zip), abstract, keywords, text, content of references, The whole script should be printed out with A4, the figures of text should be sent with TIF Format separately. In the meantime, please mail the printing paper of whole text and abstract as well as the CD (or send it to the Organizing Committee by E-mail).
After the paper is selected, it will publish in the Conference Proceedings, meanwhile, award a Paper Certificate and chose some excellent papers which will be published in "OA Magazine" with the whole text or abstracts.

OA'2007 Conference Organizing Committee

What's happening during last few months:

First Mobile Government Seminar China was hold in Peking University on 18th March 2006.

Proposed by members of mGov Lab China, mGov Lab China plans to launch Mobile Government Seminar China. This seminar aims to set up a platform for researchers, practitioners in industry and government to promote mobile government practice and innovation in public sector. The First Mobile Government Senimar will be held in Beijing on 18 March 2006. Welcome cooperation from interested parties.

Project Mobile China is launched by mGov Lab China in Feburary 2006 .
Mobile Government Laboratory China (mGov Lab China, http://www.mgov.cn/lab/) has launched project Mobile China: http://www.grchina.com.
This project aims to explore the mobility in China, the effect and potential of mobile ICT in Chinese society.
